A Little Of That Old Time BFTSOB

Ok, so it's getting late, I'm bored and can at this point get a maximum of seven hours of sleep tonight. I would turn in but my roomie has a paper to write that somehow got left until Sunday night. Whatever, it'll happen to all of us so I'm not going to be bitter, just bored. But I guess it's a positive statement about the state of tis blog that my BFTSOB posts are due to boredom, not inactivity. I will probably go back to reading Stephen Hawking soon, but I can only take so much of him at a time (given that it's complicated and occasionaly blows my mind enough to mke me stop). Before that, I'll give you a couple random tidbits:

There's apparently a Crazy John Brown University. This amuses me greatly. (Anyone who took US history with me knows why).

I've recently embraced my OCD side and starting keeping a host of to-do lists, daily planner stuff, etc. The most recent addition to my to-do list: disprove the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (probably more on this in a future post).

Question worth debating: would being fluent in Elvish improve or hurt my chances with girls?

Just when I thought I was really disapointed in my institution of higher education (aka drinking is dumb), I found out that no one on my hall knows who Bones McCoy is. I know it's geeky and they're young, but that shit is classic.

umm....what kind of girls you looking to get? I feel something like that would sharply polarize your selection...eg some will be like "ew! dork!" and others will be like "speak that sexy elvish to me!" I feel like the former are gonna be hotter and larger in number, but hey you never know...

PS- i still wanna hear how that party went

wait...is it actually called "Crazy John Brown U" or are we just throwing the crazy in there for kicks...cuz if not I so wanna tour there, they probabaly have their own armory or something lol

The elvish thing just came up in a list of reasons why girls wouldn't be attracted to me, though there was some question. Maybe I'll go into it further in another post.

The school, that I believe exists is simply called John Brown University. I, however, am bligated to add "crazy". I think it's a school for fundementalist Christians (go figure), maybe even a seminary school.

re:PS Though I am loathe to speak of such things in this context (it's not livejournal!), the party didn't "go" because I left after an hour. Why? It was lame.

I actually was referencing the text I sent you at like 4am saying call me and tell me how it went and lets catch up over college in general. And don't worry, a lot of other people thought the luau was mehh. But you should def check your texts more often cuz if it werent for a lucky coincidence i would have been stranded at your school for like 2 hours (mildly funny story) and if you do go to another party we should hang out more than like 5 min lol. what'd you end up doing anyway? (you dont have to respond to this in comment format obv)and did i mention i think i found a chick for you? (no joke!!!)

Whats with you and "science stuff for life"? But I would love to bring it back, we'll see.

btw, you can post under the name dr_koopon (not anonymous) even without a blogger account. just use the "other" button.

JV, I believe you've gotten the universities confused.

Perhaps you're thinking of Bob Jones University, long known as a haven for anti-Semitism and fundamentalist Christianity...

Check it out for yourself, its a "private, Christian university".
